2014 Montagna Rossa

« Back to Shop

Sweet aromas of nutmeg and Bing cherry precede toasty graham and blackberry cobbler. Sangiovese contributes familiar notes of plumb and iron while the Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot lend nuances of cassis, leather, and ripe
berry fruits. While riper and sweeter than the 2013 vintage (due to a warmer, earlier growing season), the 2014 Montagna Rossa still has plenty of Red Mountain structure for graceful aging.
